It's 'World Oceans Day'. The P3s decided to celebrate World Oceans Day by helping to look after their local beach. From school we walked to Castlerock Beach and did a litter pick along the sand dunes and tide line. We found some very interesting items of litter, including a pair of socks, lots of plastic toys, a pair of glasses, a baby's dummy, bottle lids, a fishing net and some straws. The P3s made a huge impact to the beach and are very pleased that the wildlife and surrounding area will be much safer because of their actions. Well done to the P3 pupils for all their effort on this special day.
