We have started our new topic of 'Houses and Homes' in P2. So far we have been learning about how a house is built and the rooms in a house. We looked at plans for a house and watched a clip of a house being built, we talked about the different machinery being used and the people that were needed for the build.
We also looked at types of houses and tried to identify which type of house we lived in, we had lots of different answers- bungalows, farmhouses, detached and terraced houses were some of the ones we identified.
Also this week we looked through catalogues to find pictures of items to sort into rooms of a house. we really enjoyed getting to select pictures to cut and stick and everyone did a brilliant job.
