P2s finished our Minibeast topic this week and had so much fun celebrating with an 'Ugly Bug Ball' in the assembly hall. Some of the activities we enjoyed in the rest of our topic included a minibeast hunt in our outdoor play area, exploring the life cycle of a butterfly using some pasta and rice and carrying out an experiment with sellotape and and oil to demonstrate how spiders can move along their webs without getting stuck and trapped. We had lots of fun discovering facts about minibeasts and we look forward to beginning our last topic in P2- Transport.
