P2 Making and Flying Paper Aeroplanes
As part of our Transport topic this term, we decorated and made (with a little help from the teacher) paper aeroplanes, which we then raced against eachother outside.
We guessed how far they would go by comparing them to lengths we already knew. We had some very good guesses and were close to the actual distances.
Our top flyers were- Cooper with 10 metres, Jacob with 7 metres, Jessica with 6 metres and Zoe with 3 metres. Everyone enjoyed throwing their paper aeroplane and tomorrow we are going to repeat the activity with aeroplanes made from foam to see if that makes a difference.
Sorry I think the last two videos are in fast mode (you might have to watch them a few times to spot your child)
