We have been exploring different types of bridges and today we went down to Castlerock Beach to build some of our own. The challenge was to build a ball run that contained bridges. The teamwork was fantastic! I’m not sure if the children enjoyed the building part or destroyed their runs the most!!! Finally we had a boys against girls challenge to build a dam across the stream. Again, the teamwork was excellent and the smiles on their faces were priceless.
We had a lovely surprise when a family member of the school very kindly treated us to an ice-cream to enjoy on our walk back to school - thank you so much 😊
